Royal Mail's Special Delivery by 1pm service is by far the best way to send handcrafted jewellery; it has certainly seen me, my work and your orders right over the years. Because it is so important all round that I continue sending my work via a reliable and trusted service, I'm happy to say that from here on in I will be contributing at least half of the postage costs per order*. Whilst I can't stop postage prices rising, I can in this way help ensure that your purchase is sent as affordably and reliably as possible.

Designer and maker of beautiful contemporary jewellery

Hello, and welcome to my Folksy shop!

If you're looking for beautifully handmade sterling silver jewellery, then you've come to the right place. I'm Sarah, and I'm the designer maker of everything available here to buy in my PeachTreePig shop :-)

Having spent a lovely couple of years at art college (completing my HND and BA(Hons) in jewellery design and silversmithing), I came back to my home town in West Sussex to crack on with 'grown up life'. Roll on to 2006 and up popped Sparkleastar, my tiara design business. It didn't take long for me to revisit those old silversmithing skills though, and in 2014 Sparkleastar became PeachTreePig!

You'll see that much of my inspiration very much comes from the natural world, with a little science fiction thrown in. However, ideas can strike at any time, and you never know quite what might provoke new designs next.
