Wildlife and landscape artist

I am a self taught artist living in Cumbria, on the edge of the Lake District. As you might imagine, inspirational landscape is on my doorstep - dramatic fells, peaceful woodlands and enigmatic stone circles. The local wildlife too is a source of inspiration. I generally paint the birds and animals I have seen out and about on walks, or the birds that visit the garden throughout the year., though occasionally I like to spread my wings with a more exotic subject.

I paint using acrylics and watercolour, from a spare bedroom that seems far too small to call a studio. These original paintings are mostly what I sell, though I do also have a small range of high quality prints.
