I started painting cards for family and friends during 'lockdown' 2020 and rediscovered my joy of creating, as I hadn't drawn since I was at school I enrolled on a distance learning Drawing and Painting Diploma course with London Art College, which I successfully completed and passed with Distinction. Many of my friends and family started asking for commissioned work and that's when I decided to set up my Folksy shop.
I love creating something special and unique and get real pleasure from the process as well as knowing that my little works of art bring happiness to other people.
I take inspiration from many things, particularly the natural world but there is beauty all around us if we take the time to look.
If you are looking for a hand painted original card that can also be a keepsake or an original painting that is as unique as the recipient, please feel free to browse my shop. All my cards are painted on 300gsm watercolour paper using artist quality watercolour paint and I occasionally offer prints too

Lynne's artwork is just amazing! She captures colour, movement and light in her beautiful pieces. I just love this card and it can be framed too which makes it the gift that keeps on giving!
