I have always loved making things, knitting, stitching, crochet and cards. Silver wire, enamel, beads or wire and straw, nothing was safe from me.
But when I gave up work and discovered fabric I found a whole new unexplored world ready and waiting for me.
Some years ago I was accepted into the Essex Craft Guild and found this lovely community of artists, artisans and craftsmen. Since then I have been selling my creations at craft events as well as on Folksy and frankly just having a blast.
My two dogs have discovered that my studio is a pet free zone and my husband often has to send out smoke signals when its time for lunch or dinner. I firmly believe I will live forever as my fabric stash is ever growing.
Everything around me gives me new ideas and inspires me and if only the days had 48 hours in it I might be getting round to realising half of them.
