Beautiful and Unique things to Wear and Gaze Upon

Hi everyone! Welcome to my shop, 'Origins Reborn'. I sell beautiful hand crafted ornaments, art and jewellery, made from 90% recycled materials.

I've always had a passion since I was a lad, for creating things out of not much. Like the time I constructed a trinket box house for my mother, made from ice-lolly sticks or the time I made a coffee table from a wooden pallet. It was beautiful, apart from the rusty nail holes! Having said that, it was still made with love and a strong desire to give something a rebirth.

In my shop you will find such wonderful items as exotic hardwood pendants set with glass cabochons, sparkling semi-precious palm stones, spalted driftwood bowls, unique ceramic artworks and many many more unique pieces.

Our wood is either off-cuts, skip finds, or driftwood. Nothing is newly felled or newly bought. We try and identify the wood the best we can. We then treat it with beeswax or an oil, to feed it and bring the best out of the wood.

Our stone and glass is 90% beachcombed or mudlarked (is that even a word?!). Again, we try to identify the stone where possible.

Ceramics are mainly recycled buff, crank or terracotta clays, kiln fired and glazed several times.

Metal detector finds are from common land or private land with permission.

Accompanying beads and adornments for jewellery are 90% charity shop finds.

Our materials are mainly sought in the North East of England and in particular from glorious Tyne & Wear.
