Hello, my name is Angela and I live in North Norfolk with my husband and pet cat Kat! The inspiration for Norfolk Paper Studio products comes from my garden, the nearby coast and living a rural life. Many of my products start life from my garden, where flowers and plants eventually find their way into my papermaking. In particular the lavender, marigolds, pansies and violas have produced a wonderful crop this year and I’ve been able to press many of the more delicate blooms to use in my floral art, one of the newest projects that’s been keeping me busy. As winter approaches, I'll be looking out for new blooms and botanicals that can be used as inspiration for my floral art.

There is something rather special about that process: something that grew in the garden can become part of a sheet of handmade paper, which then becomes part of a journal made by hand in the bindery. Preserving flowers that can eventually be used as a piece of decorative art to grace a wall or give as a gift is also deeply satisfying.
