MonoUrban= there’s only ever one

I make for the love of making and only sell one off pieces of art.
I started out as a graphic designer and have worked for over 25 years in the creative industries, I have been lucky enough to have been able to experiment and explore a wide range of mediums and materials over the years. Having worked with many inspirational artists around the UK I decided in 2020 to have a change of lifestyle, we moved to Nottingham, got a dog and I set up my creative business MonoUrban.
I use found objects and materials to create unique artwork with a bit of sparkle.
I make according to my mood and materials. You will see from my work there is a lot of shoreline materials used, these have been personally collected over the years from Scotland, Wales and East England shorelines, some are from my childhood! You may also notice I’m a big David Bowie and Prince fan and love Alice in Wonderland!
At the moment I am going through a working with light phase.
