Possessing a real part of history in your hands

I have always been passionate about collecting old coins, even as a small child I used to make my own bracelets & necklaces out of antique coins that my grandfather gave to me.

Collecting old coins was not only about having fun or investing money in something precious. It is also about having a real part of history in my hands; It is like having a piece from an entire story related to that coin.

Also, I always loved the sentiment and meaning behind all coin jewellery designs. Ever since the 1600’s people have given coins to their loved ones as a meaningful gift.

Today I'm lucky enough to be able to work with my wife designing jewellery in our own studio in UK. I enjoy putting old and new materiels together to create something unique.

The coins that I use for my jewellery and accessories are genuine, mostly circulated, they have all been sterilized and polished individually by hand to bring out the detail, the circulated coins may have slight marks or signs of wear in keeping with their age, & that's what makes it meaningful.
