I have always from the age of about 8 years old when my Granddad gave me a load of old bits of wood, a bucket of nails and said make a fence at the bottom of the garden. I achieved it (in a fashion akin to something that should have been called a Frankenfence, but I achieved it.) from that day I loved to make things. In these days of the throw away society and pollution I've seen some beautiful pieces of wood and other materials thrown out ready for the landfill or incinerator. So I've decided to put the two together and try and make a bit of a difference. The clock in the picture above I made from an old bed frame in my little workshop at the bottom of my garden.
