Hi im a founder member of the Plymouth colour collective and have been features for my art in Devon life and Cornwall today . My work can be found in local galleries and at the tavistock arts market monthly . . I live with my husband and little shitzu in between Dartmoor and the Devon coastline . It’s easy to be inspired by my enviromnent as we are surrounded by the sea, woodland and flower meadows . Plymouth has been my home now for over 30years.
Ill health forced me to change direction and so I embarked on a short introduction to fused glass.... I was hooked and soon invested in my first kiln. Since this I have self taught through experimentation And have developed a real passion for this art form
I work from my little home studio where I love to create individual and bespoke items (to customers design ) . I think my work reflects the environment I live in falling broadly into two styles - woodland /meadows and sea inspired . I love to give my meadows a modern twist with some funky colours . Just for fun I developed my “there’s always one “ range to make you smile .
I create a range from pictures and wall hangings , candle cribs , trinket dishes, larger bowls (bespoke only) house signs and much more !
I also love to take commissions as it stretches me to think about how to put my style into a new subject matter

I was so pleased with this lovely piece from Lou - it had huge sentimental value to me, as my late father and I had walked past Smeaton's Tower many times when I was a child. This is so beautifully made! And I also received it very quickly from Lou.

The tree decorations are really beautiful and the little extra glass free gift is a nice little surprise x the tree decorations are very pretty and magical when the light shines theough them. Lovely quality !!
