About Laura Boardman Ceramics

Laura Boardman Ceramics

Handmade one off ceramic pieces, all with a natural feel.

Hi, I’m Laura a small time potter.
After falling in love with clay the first time i touched it, I decided to take it further and studied Ceramics at Cumbria College of Art and Design in the 90’s. This led me to explore Handbuilding further, specifically coiling. I also loved using natural techniques such as smoke firing and building my own kiln.
Fast forward a few years, and having not touched clay for years and after spending time in offices, and having my 3 children, I decided the time was right to get back to my passion and feel clay again.
I love it, I love just making and seeing where the clay takes me, I hope you love my work too.
