We are two sisters who learnt to sew and craft under our mother’s careful eye. We started crafting again whilst caring for our father who had dementia and couldn’t be left alone in a room. To save our sanity we stitched and stamped our crafts which seemed to calm Dad as he was used to Mum doing these things around him.
Roll on 5 years, we no longer have Dad with us but lock down arrived and we started to make masks for the local community and here on Folksy.
We named the business after the family dog Lake - a Bedlington Whippet cross .
We now produce useful items for you and your family at a reasonable price using high quality material and stitched with love. Jill is the main creator and seamstress and Penny has recently been promoted from chief cutter to sewer of straight lines.

What a brilliant solution to the peg storage problem! No more bending down as the bag can he hung on the rotary arm within easy reach. It's extremely well made in such a cheery fabric, I'm delighted with it. Great communication from seller and it arrived speedily. Highly recommended. Many thanks!
