I’m a freelance illustrator based in Cornwall and I love working with traditional media, such as watercolours, to create quirky animal characters and colourful scenes. Here you’ll find a collection of my illustrations for sale, including archival prints, greeting cards, bookmarks and tea towels.
My Folksy shop started off in 2011 as a creative outlet to keep me busy between commercial commissions and to keep me afloat when I first started freelancing. Since then it’s developed into a fully-fledged mini business and you can now find my cards in a small selection of shops and galleries as well as online. I enjoy seeing the process through from the first sketches of an idea, to painting the final illustrations and regular walks to the Post Office with orders.
In recent years it’s become a tradition to add a new ‘Smiley Sprout’ design to the collection each Christmas, so check back in Nov/Dec for the latest sprout characters and an expanded range of cards, wrapping paper, gift tags and stickers.
Giclée Prints:
Some of my products are listed as ‘giclée prints’. In short, a giclée is an archival-quality digital print. I use pigments inks and acid-free fine art papers, so you can be confident that the prints will last well over time and that the colours won’t fade.
Packaging:
I’m keen to limit the environmental impact of what I do, so your order may arrive in packaging labelled ‘compostable’ – these biodegrade best in commercial composting conditions, so if your council offers food waste collection this is the best place to dispose of them. I reuse packaging that I receive, so if your order contains bubble wrap you can be sure it’s already on its second use.
International Orders:
Please be aware that some countries will charge you customs duties or import tax when receiving parcels from abroad. Buyers are responsible for those charges - they're outside the control of the seller, so please check that you’re happy with the fees in your area before placing an order. Thanks.

As an artist who makes cards myself, I'm always on the look out for something a bit different for friends and relatives. This card is absolutely perfect for my sister who has an allotment. The image is absolutely adorable and the card is excellent quality. It was packaged perfectly and posted quickly. Highly recommend this artist and her gorgeous illustrations.

Gorgeous cards, with some very amusing and original artwork. I originally spotted one for my daughter's upcoming house move, but couldn't resist a couple of others.
The quality of the printing is really good too-veey clear colours on nice cardstock.
