There's nothing like seeing your four legged friends in cute apparel - it always makes me very proud!

Knit 9 began in 2018 when I started making hand knitted items for my puppy Lois. As Lois grew, so did the business and I was soon making all sorts of dog accessories and shipping them worldwide! A career change and a house move resulted in the business closing for a while.

However, I missed it very much and finding myself with a few weeks to spare I decided to start again where we first began – with simple snoods and bandanas.

All our high quality materials are selected carefully and each piece is handmade to order in our studio in Cheddar, Somerset. As a life-long knitter, I love the process of creating from a single strand of yarn and have loved learning to sew over the last few years – the choice of fabrics is so exciting and one of my favourite things is choosing fabric that I know you will love.

Why Knit 9? When I started the business I knew I wanted something knitted related but also with a reference to our four legged friends – as K is the abbreviation for the knit stitch, K9 seemed like the obvious choice. We liked it so much we acquired the trademark!
