Handmade grafts from John O’Groats in Scotland

Whilst walking along the beach in John O’Groats searching for ‘Groatie-buckie shells’ (also known as cowries) one day, I came up with the idea to start making homemade crafts with these shells. In Caithness, these shells are a symbol of good luck to anyone who beholds them. I specialise in Biochemistry but I’ve always wanted to do something creative so this is my fun crafts on the side. I started making wedding favours and now various charm bracelets, simplistic but lovely homemade crafts!

Feel free to have a wee nosey at the crafts I’m selling.
