I use hand tools and imagination to produce beautiful, unique, handcrafted things from British wood.

I have a life-long love of wood, nature and the planet and have worn many over the years hats to express that love. I've worked for environmental charities, as an ecological garden designer and now also as a woodworker. In my woodwork, I like to allow items to hold on to their unique natural beauty and form, whilst crafting them in to something new.

I like to create items that are useful and beautiful at the same time, in the spirit of the arts and crafts movement. And I like the simplicity of using hand tools and ecologically sound materials to produce something that will sit amongst many other things, wherever it ends up, serving its purpose and hopefully inspiring intrigue, joy or a smile.

I flit between Cheshire and Pembrokeshire, where I am creating a self-sufficient smallholding project in which I will do doing a lot more woodwork.
