I started making jewellery 25 years ago. I love working with natural materials like gems, Welsh slate, beach pebbles and recycled glass.
Recycling glass is something I feel very strong about. Using as much as I can, it means that not a lot of wastage happens after I have enjoyed consuming my favourite drinks! The bottles are smashed inside a towel and the pieces are tumbled and shaped to make my pretty necklaces, bracelets and pendants. I, also, make glass beads to compliment most of my jewellery. Every piece created is unique.
I love relaxing by knitting and crocheting accessories. My grandmother taught me how to do it 60 years ago.
The prices of all my creations are 'reasonable', and of course, they do not represent the work involved. My reward, however, is the feeling that something I have made will give joy and perhaps a little happiness to others.
