Hello and welcome to my world of handmade books made in my home studio on a farm on a Scottish island.

I have always had a deep love for paper and for the past decade I have been experimenting with many ways to use this wonderful material. This love of paper led me to learn how to make books and I have been busily honing my bookbinding skills for the last 10 years.

I believe a great book can bring such pleasure. Whether you are a story writer, art journaller, list maker or sketcher, I probably have something for you. And I believe a good book can be beautiful and practical at the same time. Each of my books has been made with the user in mind and has been designed to be used. Once full of your creations, memories and ideas they will only become more beautiful.

I love paper of all kinds but you will often see recycled and found papers in my books. I think paper with a bit of history has special character so I often rescue items from charity shops to breathe new life into them.
