My interest in free motion machine embroidery started when I went on a workshop with the fabulous Julie Tigley. I immediately got hooked and began to look for ways I could use my new found skills. I started making cards just for friends initially but they started asking me to make cards for them to give and so it all grew from there.
I love using colourful material in my work and have a considerable stash in my craft room where I do most of my sewing. I also use a lot of buttons and I am always on the look out for recycled and vintage supplies.
I recently started making brooches using a combination of Harris tweed, velvet, felt and needle cord.
Everything I make is unique as no two cards or brooches can ever be exactly the same!

This is a gorgeous card! Communication was very good and quick, Susan was very helpful and it was no problem for her to personalise it as I wanted. Also kept me posted on delivery, which again was very quick, I received it in a couple of days. Very well packaged too. Thank you so much, will defo use again and would recommend to anyone
