Hi! I’m Holly

I love nature and will often spend walks getting sidetracked by a cluster of fungi, a boulder dripping with moss or a cheeky bluetit searching a birch tree for a snack, much to the annoyance of my dog who doesn’t understand why I’ve stopped moving again.

I take most of my inspiration from the world around me, I have always loved being creative and write poems, songs, and stories.

More recently I’ve found another creative outlet through art, photography, and lino printing.

One of my favourite things to do is nature photography, focusing mostly on birds as I find them fascinating and also enjoy the challenge of trying to photograph a very flighty subject! All the bird designs you see are based off photos I have taken, and then hand drawn onto lino before being carved and made into prints!

Future plans;

I hope to increase the amount of secondhand clothing I use for printing

I would like to be able to offer custom orders, where you could choose a few of my smaller designs to combine into a personalised item of clothing

I find inspiration in morning mists quilting silent moors, secluded dells and brooks lined with hazel.
Nature is so vast and yet it is the small things that I find most incredible, its miniature beauties, frosted webs hung with dewdrop crystals, the ripples a fish makes as mayflies dance on the water’s surface, the rustle of leaves when a blackbird is nearby.
I strive to capture that quiet feeling of connection and to embrace the quirks of life. Every print is different.
