Hand-crafted gifts and cards made in Worcestershire

I’ve lived in Worcestershire, in the heart of England for most of my life and have been fortunate to travel extensively around the world and all around the UK, more recently in my trusty campervan named Poppy.

I’ve always had a curious interest in ‘making things’ and being creative although my early drawings often elicited a vague but encouraging comment from my first teacher ‘that’s very colourful Alison’. Any more serious forays into crafting started about 20 years ago and were partly fuelled by a trip to visit friends in California - the availability of resources and the joys of extensive American craft shops definitely helped.

Over the years I’ve tried a number of different crafts - patchwork, quilting, scrap-booking, applique, upholstery and numerous fabric and paper-crafts; I even tried wood-turning last year though that's on hold until I can get the extra space for the equipment needed!

After a successful career, I have decided to make my hobby my job and focus on expanding my creative skills. I look forward to sharing my latest projects with you where I'm focussing on hand-crafted small gifts and greetings cards.
