I started making cards a few years ago as a hobby and a way to try and distract myself from the pain in my back due to a problem with my neck and spine which makes it feel all twisted. And now I am addicted to crafting. I love making cards and I also like to make felt Christmas tree decorations and also enjoy to decoupage. I work from home selling plants and the items I have handcrafted and have also just written my first book. We have a dog called Zeus, 2 Guinea pigs called Cookie and Fudge, 2 Rabbits called Poppy and Daisy, 3 hamsters called Nibbles, Hazel and Chungus, 2 goldfish called Nick and Zak and our new addition to the family a Hermanns tortoise called Shelley. As you can tell we love animals and my cards and other handmade crafts are based on our love of family, pets and other wildlife. I adore owls, foxes and badgers my grown up daughter is a cat lover and has 3 called Mittens, Covu and Nico. My favourite time of year is Autumn and Winter I have a love of cosy dark evenings, Halloween and my absolute love is Christmas watching the kids open there presents is the best. And Christmas eve when the kids are wound right up with excitement. Our Christmas traditions are gremlins and Arthur Christmas as well as other Christmas movies with hot chocolates and duvet on the sofa.
