Tin Art Jewellery

Hi my name is Nancy I live in beautiful West Yorkshire and I make Tin Jewellery from Vintage and modern tins some using original Artwork of my own and collaborations with another Artist. All my pieces have 925 Sterling Silver Fittings. My 2 dogs keep me Company in my Studio.

I have always been interested in Art and love bright bold colours, painting was honestly the only thing I was ever really good at whilst I was in school! I didn't appreciate until years later how supportive my parents were letting me loose to paint murals inside our house!

Painting and drawing developed into jewellery making and I was particularly drawn to old tins, the designs can be incredible, I love researching the ages of them its hard to believe how old many are. In someways it seems a shame to cut them up, but I am passionate about the environment and try hard to do my bit, so I see it as upcycling and turning already made tins into beautiful wearable items. Its like wearing a piece of history.
