Handmade ceramics gifts, decorations and homeware

For many years I have been teaching arts and crafts, then I decided to join a local evening pottery class, where my obsession for ceramics started.
All of my work is handmade with slabs or coils of clay, which are carefully shaped by hand or with handmade moulds.
I then spend time finishing, shaping and glazing each piece to achieve the desired finish. Each piece is fired twice, with each firing taking up to 24 hours.

I love the individual and unique quality that is achieved when a piece is made entirely by my own hand.

My inspiration comes from home, garden, colour, travel, all things handmade and a desire to produce simple functional forms to use in the everyday.
