Handmade stoneware

Eleven years ago I took my daughters to a Paint your own shop, can't say I was terribly impressed, with the experience or my painting skills, still the kids enjoyed it, so when a new place opened I took them along, you never know what will change the direction of your life, it can be the smallest thing. The proprietor was lovely and knowledgeable and before I knew it I was hooked, joined her evening class 8 years ago and by last year was running my own. Then I discovered throwing a couple of years ago and fell in love all over again, taking a lump of clay and turning it in to something beautiful is just the best feeling in the world (I might be a bit biased here). So now I have squirreled away several hundred slip molds in the cellar and claimed a room as my studio All I need is to get to the point where my obsession can pay for itself now that I have reached a point where I feel confident enough to try sell some of the items I've been making.
