It's all about a Polymer Clay...

I have been a Polymer Clay artist for over 30 years. It started out as a hobby...Just making small items for friends and family. IT was a great way to make a bit of extra cash whist the children were small. I then started running workshops in schools, giving talks and demonstrations and attending Craft Fairs.

I still do all of the above but I now work for the homeless charity Crisis as an Arts Practitioner. IT is a great job working with vulnerable housed young people and adults, who also have mental health issues. It is very rewarding and a joy when people who have not been creative since their scool days, making and creating with Fimo.

I have my own studio here in Sheffield...which is brilliant. I have worked from home for over 25 years and now I have my own space...to be as messy (creatively...of course) and it's such a blessing to be along side other creative people.
