This is me, I am Emily and I have got the best job ever, I get to work from home and make pretty things ALL DAY. Up to 7 years ago I had a dull job which I hated but it paid the bills and I got to make some pretty things in the evening and weekend so wasn't all bad, then one day I was made redundant. This could have been a sad day but hell not here, it was the start of Fused Glass By Emily and 7 years later and I have never looked back. They say things happen for a reason and I so believe that. I have 3 boys Oscar 16, Henry 12 and Ralph 9, who I get to take to school, and collect every day which I couldn't do before its all Perfect. I live in Weston Super Mare and am so lucky that we have the seaside a mile in one direction and fields and countryside in the other, so loads of inspiration to be had. I love glass so much, I love the fact that I get to just make what ever I want and magic really does happen in the kiln over night, colours change, the glass curves and shines. The only bad thing about my job is waiting for the kiln to cool down when all you want is to get in there. I have got to meet some great customers and a whole heap of other makers. I class myself as a very Luck Lady.
