Hello! I’m Nia – the human behind Fluffy Bird Design.

The creative whirlwind behind Fluffy Bird. I’m a jewellery maker, illustrator, stitch witch, and all-around craft adventurer with over 25 years of creative chaos under my belt. From embroidery hoops to digital doodles, I love making things that feel a little magical and a lot joyful.

I work from my studio in a converted chapel, usually in the company of Eric, my rescue Frenchie and full-time muse. He’s often found napping while I’m stitching, sketching, or daydreaming up my next whimsical creation. Whether it’s earrings with attitude, tiny stitched worlds, or playful illustrations, everything I make has a story behind it — and a lot of heart.
