Here at Florrie and Glad, near the beautiful city of York, we sow, grow and harvest the flowers that are pressed and dried to make unique and beautiful gifts.
Our flowers are hung to dry in our garden studio or pressed to make wall hangings, cards, labels and wreaths amongst other nature-inspired gifts for the home.
I garden for a living but I also live to garden and love everything that nature teaches me. It's great to be able to extend that life of our plants once they are 'retired' from our outside space.
I'm inspired by Autumn and Winter gardens and the frost covered seed heads as well as loving the colours of Summer and the long awaited newness of Spring.
The brand is named after my Mum and Aunt, Florence Ruth and Gladys Mary, who were identical twins, both resilient and tenacious (like nature) but with a large dose of mischief!! Truly inspirational.
We hope you like our gifts as much as we enjoy nurturing and re-homing them.
