After visiting the 'Jungle' camp in Calais earlier this year and witnessing the terrible and desperate conditions that so many people are willing to live in as an alternative to their home countries, I decided to set up 'Fair Imprint' in order to try and find a long term model of supporting registered charities helping refugees.
My background as a printed textile designer means my photoshop skills have come in handy, so having carried out art workshops in the camp I have collected designs and turned them into greeting cards.
I am hoping to expand in the future by working with other refugees on new designs, and am currently working on a collection of my own designs of printed homeware, and donating a percentage to charity.
After much research, I have chosen to support REFUAID, who's focus is on supporting 'host' communities in Greece, in order to provide a more sustainable model than large camps. Their aim is to help integration by building on existing infrastructure, in turn promoting social cohesion, reduce cultural misunderstanding and xenophobia and create better opportunities for protection.
You can read more about them here:

In the run up to Christmas 2016, we also supported Care4Calais, who are continuing to provide aid for displaced people throughout France.
