“Shop” currently closed for a fresh new look coming early 2026

Small town girl with a sewing addiction, trying new designs of accessories with fun fabrics and patterns.

I'm Emma and like so many I started sewing in the first lockdown in 2020. I had surgery on a foot injury just before lockdown and was unable to work my normal job. My best friend gave me her old sewing machine and some fabric. I started by making uniform bags for my Ambulance colleagues to put their uniform in to go straight into the washing machine. Then I took some requests for individual kit bags. I was sat with my injured foot up on a stool under my dining room table happily sewing away. Much to my furloughed husbands moaning noises and swearing at his computer games!
From that I tried my hand at a couple of shoulder bags and 3 years later I have my own sewing shack/summerhouse, a newer sewing machine, over-locker, embroidery machine and A LOT of fabric.
Some of my fabric stash is made up of items of clothing people are getting shot of and I recycle the material, buttons, zips etc from them.
I like to make handbags, bowties, scarves, cushions and reading cushions.
Don't be surprised if you buy something from my shop that is was once something else. Example: look out for the Skirt Bags!
