I spin, weave and needle felt wool

I am a mother and grandmother and love arts and crafts. Have been drawing ever since I can remember.

Got into weaving and spinning by accident but now I just love doing it. Then came needle felting. Making things with wool and a needle combines my love of drawing with the enjoyment of creating.

I am inspired by anything and everything, For my wool paintings its seeing something and thinking yup that would be awesome done with wool. Doing 2d pictures makes art interactive as you have to touch it just to feel how soft it is. Its painting with wool.

My favourite thing though as anyone who knows me will agree has to be dragons so any way I can get a dragon into my work makes me happy.

I enjoy teaching and passing on my skills to others so that they can have as much enjoyment at making things as I do
