Stylish handcrafted sterling silver & semi precious gemstone Jewellery inspired by the beauty of nature, talismans and momento's I collect.

My name is Annabel New, I am the owner and designer of Talisman Silver, a line of hand-fabricated, modern silver jewelry. My aesthetic is inspired by my interest in ancient cultures, armor, ritual adornments curiosities and the magic of personal memento's.

My design journey began in 2000 when I studied kiln fused glass, which led to several requests for commissioned jewellery pairing fused glass with silver.

After studying silversmithing, I registered my personal Hallmark with the UK Assay Office in 2012.

All of my pieces are made using a variety of processes from casting the unique objects I have collected to acid and salt water etching. I combine sterling silver, gold, gemstones, with casts of found objects, elements from nature and antique jewellery.

I am excited and intrigued by the positive energy and sense of protection that has been attributed to talismans throughout history. I want to make pieces that marry old and new to create unique modern talismans.

Each piece is handmade in my Kent studio and where possible I try to use recycled precious metal. My dedication and attention to detail ensure a beautiful, exceptional, and long-lasting piece.
