I am based in London where alongside working part time, I love spending time with my two children, going for walks and encapsulating anything I find appealing into resin. I started DesResin by making characterful 3-D miniatures encased in resin as it gave me the opportunity to capture the unique City of London landmarks and locations in an attractive, intriguing, and permanent way. Following on from this, I began creating miniatures of animals and people’s pets (on request) into attractive pieces of jewellery. Recently, during lockdown, due to the quieter nature of London and the enhanced ability to hear birds singing, I have been drawn to making jewellery which includes miniature glistening birds.
I have also been commissioned to make replica miniatures of specific people set in their chosen locations, as it is the prefect way of capturing their moments in a unique and vibrant way.
