I make unique and unusual book art which I design and make myself. I also sell some of the patterns.
The book art that I make are great for gifting to teachers, for 1st wedding anniversary gifts (paper) and 4th Anniversary gifts (Fruit and Flowers) also for treating a friend or yourself!

I love what I do! I am always looking for things to make and unique items that are different from what is on sale in the high street. I love being creative and resourceful and try to recycle as much as possible.

Giving love back to old books.

Hello! I’m Lara and welcome to Creaton Crafts Here’s a little bit about us…. I started out training as a fashion and textiles designer, I studied for 4 years and enjoyed every moment of it, I fell out of love with the fashion world soon after I started working in the industry and I then became a warehouse operative packing boxes and I even drove a forklift. I worked my way up and became a Health and Safety Manager. I had somewhere along the line lost my way and was no longer making or designing, which has always been part of me. I hung up my Health and Safety Hat and started a little successful clothing business which I ran from home.

I fell pregnant with my first child and then a had a second and became a full time Mummy. Now one is at college and the second is studying for GCSE’s I felt I could put more time getting back into what I really enjoyed doing which is designing and making. I am excited and encouraged that people really like my products that I have designed and produced, it has now turned into a full time business for me and my husband. It has been a long and hard journey setting up a small business but very rewarding when you read the feedback from the customers.
