Cosie Varie - Meaning: Various things

I've been sewing on and off all my life, my mum taught me to sew as a child, she worked from home, sewing for M&S, Dorothy Perkins, & other big brands, throughout the 60's & 70's.

At 15 I started my working life in the banking world, eventually, I moved on to what came natural to me, sewing. I went on to work for many companies making various items men's tailored suits to boiler suits and Golf flags to cosmetic bags.

Then came marriage and children, I began making clothes & fancy dress outfits for my three daughters and started using my skills around the home making my own curtains, cushions & other creations.

I've accumulated a lot of fabric over the years, mostly new unused remnants from bigger projects. I don't like waste, so keep fabric that's too good for landfill, meaning some of my items have had a previous life as part of something else, which I will always make clear.

I still love to sew when feeling creative, I never use a pattern and make 'whatever comes in my head' so my listings will vary and every item I make will be unique. I sometimes veer from sewing and make non-fabric items.

As you will have noticed, I'm not so good with a camera!
