After working 25 years in the NHS, my headspace hobby has led my down a new path. I love making jewellery, and particularly when I can use nature to inspire or create my pieces. I'm always looking out for leaves and acorns etc. when out and about on my dog walks to use. I'm so lucky to live in a very green city with woods close by and only a hop, skip and a jump into the Peak District.
My jewellery started out from learning how to make with precious metal clay (fine silver and copper), which is recycled metal from industry. I am always coming up with new designs and ideas, especially as my silversmithing skills grow - so please follow me on Instagram or Facebook to see my latest creations, as a lot of my pieces are one offs, they may not be listed on Folksy, but I'm happy to take messages if you see something you like.
