Knitting addict, animal lover and crochet beginner. I take inspiration from the Scottish scenery

Based on the West coast of Scotland I have been knitting since my Gran taught me at the age of 6 using old wooden needles. As part of my breast cancer recovery I picked up the needles again. Nature's colours are always my guide to choosing wool, they drive my passion and influence. Throughout my lifetime I have been drawn to pick up the needles from time to time from everything from cabling jumpers to snoods, baby blankets to hats. Knitting has always kept me balanced and I enjoy knitting in the season's colours. You will find various items added monthly for you to chose from. I personally love alpaca wool and pure wool but I know not everyone can wear that next to their skin, so I have started using more acrylic. I love all crafts and crafting.
