Hello, I’m Chengyu, the artist behind Noctambulist Studio.
I’m a London-based artist, currently working between art, emotion, and quiet forms of healing.
Noctambulist means “one who walks at night.” This studio was born from those in-between hours, when thoughts are louder, feelings are clearer, and the world becomes softer and more honest.
My work is inspired by personal experiences, memory, and the invisible emotional layers we carry every day. I create pet portraits, prints, and small objects that are not just visual, but also something to sit with, something that holds a feeling.
Everything I make leans towards softness, stillness, and a kind of quiet companionship. Whether it’s a portrait of a beloved pet, or a small print on your wall, I hope it brings a sense of calm, comfort, or simply a moment of pause.
