About CMcB Jewellery

CMcB Jewellery

I design and make silver jewellery from my home/studio in the beautiful busling Camberwell district of South East London!

Hello I'm Carol, and apart from some evening classes at Morley College, London back in the early 1990's am pretty much self taught. I have a love and passion for silver creations and so design and make many of my attractive and exciting pieces of jewellery using sterling silver. I can also work with all other precious metals with the use sometimes of gold and semi-precious stones as a feature to my work. I also like to add interesting hammered textures and patterns to enhance my designs. I am inspired by abstract shapes and forms, nature and traditional symbols.

Working from my home/studio in Camberwell, South East London I use traditional silversmithing tools and techniques which include sawing, aneling, forging, hammering, soldering and polishing to produce my hand made pieces. I make each piece of jewellery from silver sheet, wire or recycled silver which result in no two pieces being identical and so therefore unique and original.

I like to make individual unique contemporary jewellery that has a strong eye catching simplicity for everyday wear, as well as some elegant eye catching pieces for that special occasion.

I source all of my 925 solid sterling silver and findings (earring scrolls, pins, pin protectors etc) from a reputable and trusted UK supplier.

All pieces of my work that exceed 7.78 grams are stamped at the London Assay office witch include the full UK hallmarks along with my unique maker's/sponsor's mark 'CMcB'

My work shop is based in the beautiful bustling inner city district of Camberwell, South East London.
