OOAK Collectable Teddy Bears individually hand crafted.

I have been making Teddy Bears for twenty years and I have yet to produce two identical bears! Even with the same pattern they never turn out the same. I use German mohair either Schulte or Hembold and quality glass eyes. The bears are filled with a polyester fibre and are normally weighted, but not too heavy.
They are unsuitable for children under thirteen years of age because of their glass eyes and metal joints.
I also create bears from faux fur. These are child friendly as they have plastic safety joints and safety eyes.
My sewing started with dolls clothes at the age of about ten when the best Christmas present I could get would be pieces of fabric, lace and thread. Other crafts have followed but due to my love of sewing they never really appealed quite as much.
My workroom is a converted attic where I can turn the music on and create bears. Diane
