The six Boxers in the picture are the reason that boxerliciousboarding (our boarding business) and boxerliciousk9treats / BoxerliciousCrafts store began. A lover of animals and crafting combined, means that I can live my dream. From a youngster, I wanted work with animals, but with careers advice at school I went down a different route. For many years it was niggling away at the back of my head that I'd listened to their advice. Thankfully, after buying my first two Boxers, they made me realise that I could still follow my dream. This increased to 6 Boxers who give nothing but unconditional love. Fast forward a few years. I'm a breeder, have a Level 4 in pet nutrition, an experienced candle maker, started my own pet boarding business with an online pet store dedicated to handmade crafts and treats and continuing my animal related qualifications.
Every item I make and sell are items I myself love. I put love and passion into everything I do and often look at the animal community for ideas and inspiration. I listen to owners suggestions on items they'd like to see in my store and I take it from there.
My daughter has studied for 3 years in animal care and is now able to assist within the business, whilst also working as a qualified canine carer at rescue centre, and hopefully, together, we can continue to grow as a business. Folksy is very new to us, but we're looking forward to being part of the selling community.
