Blueberry Art - Little handmade Scotland

Hello my name is Dominika.

I originally come from small town in southern Poland. For last 10 years I have been based in Glasgow where I studied Fine Art at Glasgow School of Art. I am a full time artist based in Yorkhill, Glasgow. After the graduation I have started to work with Fine art galleries that are located around Scotland .

Blueberry Art is my crafting side project . Its name is derived from my middle name ' Jagoda ' which means blueberry.

I am inspired by almost everything that surrounds me. I have lived in Glasgow for quite a few years now and it's still doesn't cease to surprise and inspire me. All the old beautiful buildings and abandoned structures. The stories of Scottish products like Tunnock's teacakes or Irn-bru.

I also love travelling around this incredible country, I adore the shape of Scottish cottages , it was the ones I've seen in Isle of Skye that inspired me to create series of pop up cards in a shape of a Scottish croft house.
