Black Dog Pottery is a small batch ceramics studio. Inspired by mid-century design & colour and a desire not to take itself too seriously.

Each piece is handmade in my studio, from preparing the clay to choosing the glaze combinations and loading the kiln, to dropping off at the post office- It's a one woman show.

Buying from me

Black Dog Pottery was born from my love of creating and my obsession with plants. Tired of the same old boring planters and pots, I was looking for something a bit quirky. When I couldn’t find what I was looking for I decided to go out and make what I wanted.

I’m inspired by mid-century design. My pieces are quirky and fun. I strive to create things that make me smile. I don’t take myself too seriously and hope that sense of fun comes through in my pottery.
