I just love hand stitching and make beautiful leather accessories and embroidery and cross stitch keepsakes

My craft journey started when I was 7 years old. My Grandma gave me money for Christmas and I spent every penny on my first cross stitch sampler. I remember being so excited choosing all the different coloured threads and from the moment I began my first stitch, I was hooked.

I've always loved handmade. I have tried many different crafts over the years, but always come back to my needle and thread. I love embroidery, cross stitch, tambour and most recently leatherwork.

I completed a Leathercraft course at university in 2015 and developed my passion for hand stitching to another level. There I discovered a passion for luxurious fabric and raw materials. The smell and feel of leather and the softness of silk - it's just unparalleled. The time and effort that goes into creating items with your hands is just insane. Using the best materials means that the end result is just that little bit more beautiful.

When I'm not crafting, I run a yoga business - very important to counter all that hunched over crafting!

I make my wares at home in Dorset in my makeshift office-yoga studio-craft space. I love finding beautiful materials and source all of my material from UK companies. I regularly venture to Northampton for my leather and just love getting lost in my favourite warehouses.

I get my inspiration from a variety of sources, but mainly my ideas come from wanting to making something special for someone I love, and then enjoying the process that much I make 10! My mohair bears started with wanting to give my nephew something special he could keep forever, but I enjoyed making them so much I made more.
