Hello and welcome to Belle Maison Shop. I’m a fabric lover, quilt maker and lifelong crafter based in the East Midlands. I first learnt to sew at school, but it wasn’t until I retired from teaching that I rediscovered my sewing machine and fell in love with quilting. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a passion, and now I spend many happy hours creating handmade pieces that bring colour, comfort and a bit of joy into everyday life.

I make a range of fabric items, from coasters and peg bags to bunting and quilts, all stitched with care in my home sewing room. I love choosing fabrics, playing with colour and pattern, and turning simple materials into something useful and unique.
