About Basilisk Glass

Basilisk Glass

Handmade Dichroic Glass

I have always been attracted to coloured glass. I used to buy a lot of dichroic jewellery as I loved the colours and the sparkle! About 8 years ago, I went on an introductory course to make dichroic jewellery. I absolutely loved it and spent the lunch hour of the course thinking about what I could make next - shapes, colours, textures and effects. Now several courses, 2 kilns and lots of happy and sometimes frustrating hours later , I have completely taken over a room in our house and our garage to make my glass. I hope that you enjoy wearing it as much as I enjoyed making it.

I regularly attend craft shows around the St Albans area, in St Albans, Harpenden, Pitstone Farm Museum, Milton Keynes and Hertford. My events are listed on my website https://www.basiliskglass.co.uk
