I make designer, handmade vintage inspired steampunk and boho costume jewellery and gifts.

Hellloooooooo! I am Ava Kitsch (not really, it's my super hero alter ego. They call me Sam). Special powers: making jewellery, crochet accessories and paper crafted goodies in The Red Room, in the North East of England.

I come from a crafty family and have always been encouraged to make. As I got older and tried to find accessories that reflected my personality, I really struggled. So I decided to make my own.

I founded Ava Kitsch in 2012 and since then have been on a creative journey. From making my first ever brooch using funky clock buttons, I now have taught myself to crochet, even design my own patterns and have discovered a love of paper crafting.

My designs are created with people like me in mind - people looking for something unique, original and affordable.

Buying from me

I create one of a kind costume jewellery and paper crafted goodies.

Custom Orders:
- if there is something you would like me to create just for you, please get in touch! I can amend existing designs or make something entirely new!

Some of the components I use in my designs are upcycled and repurposed, with charms taken from old and broken treasures. This gives my designs a unique patina which helps make the pieces truly unique and sustainably produced.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
