Inspired by the ever changing colours of the landscape and seascape, and lucky enough to live on an island, Athene has been designing and making jewellery professionally since 1996, when she graduated from the Cass with a degree in silversmithing and jewellery. From her studio in Guernsey, she finds inspiration in the natural world - the colours of the sunset, of leaves as they turn, of shells found on the beach. The palette of nature really can't be beaten. Athene produces a wide range of styles, using recycled gold and silver, all individually made by hand with care and attention to detail.
