I am entranced by colour, and spend all my days blending different colours together, mostly in paintings, but also jewellery, coasters, dishes, cards.

Having worked as a sculptor in aluminium and metal for over twenty years, concentrating on shape and form, this desire to work with colour has recently just overwhelmed me and I love every minute of it. I work in my studio, next to my house, and I never quite know what the outcome of a day's work will have produced. When I'm painting, I use fluid acrylics, which enables the paint to almost find its own way across the surface of the canvas, letting the creations evolve of their own volition whilst trying not to get in the way!

That quote by William Morris sums up my approach to my work. I love working with abstract sweeps of colour, and use these colourful acrylics to make original paintings, which I hope are beautiful and enhance their environment. I also use these glorious acrylic colours to make items like trinket dishes, magnets, key rings and coasters, which I aim to be not only useful but beautiful as well.
